DailyAffair, operated by Ideo Labs GmbH, (hereinafter referred to as "provider"), is committed to securing and protecting customer data. The provider undertakes to comply with the legal provisions pertaining to data protection. This privacy policy clarifies the nature, extent and purpose of collection and use of personal data by the user.

  1. Nature, extent and purpose of collection and use of personal data

    As part of the contractual provision of services, the necessary collection, storage, processing and use of personal data occurs.   2. Serverlogfiles

    The provider collects data each time the customer accesses the website (so-called server log files). Such data includes: name of the website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type, together with version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider. The provider uses the data for statistical analysis, for the purpose of the operation, safety and optimization of the offer. The provider retains the right, however, to review the log data if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use of services.

  3. Contacting the seller

    When the customer contacts the provider (for example via contact form or e-mail) the details of the customer will be collected in order to process the request and in case follow-up questions arise.

    The provider uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are either temporarily stored in a computer's working memory (known as session cookies) or on a computer's hard disk (known as persistent cookies).     1. Session Cookies:

      DailyAffair uses session cookies. These are not stored on the hard disk of the customer's computer and are deleted when the browser is closed. Specifically, session cookies are used for login authentication during the registration process.

    2. Affiliate Cookies:

      The provider also uses partner cookies and affiliate cookies. These terms refer to cookies that are set when a customer accesses the provider's service via the advertising space of a cooperation partner. These cookies assist the billing process with the cooperation partner and do not contain any personal information about the customer. They are deleted either when the customer registers on the provider's website or once the cookie reaches the end of its lifetime.

The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo (white "f" on blue background, the word "like" or a "thumbs up" sign) or marked by an additional "Facebook Social Plugin".     The customer has the right to obtain information as to his or her stored personal data any time, and free of charge. The request for information must be made in writing, signed by hand and accompanied by a copy of one's identification card or passport, as well as one's full name, the e-mail address use to register and the user name (alternative: the allocated customer ID).
